About me

Since I started my first job as a 16-year-old alongside school, I have been in many industries and held various roles, small and big. When I finally got a foot inside the tourism and hotel industry, first in Italy and then Norway, I felt that I had “come home”. The hectic everyday life handling many tasks at the same time and the opportunity to work closely with customers appealed to me.

Although I really enjoyed my job and was given the opportunity to hold leadership roles, I felt that something was missing. I was curious about the people in the organization and how we could lead the employees in a more optimal way, create more synergy, improve the way we communicated both internally and with customers and not least: have more fun at work!

Therefore, 14 years ago, I started a journey within personal development which eventually led to several certifications (national and international) in leadership development and teamwork. I also trained as a coach, a process that lasted a few years and is still ongoing… I believe that we are never fully trained and I am a “nerd” in keeping up to date within my subject: communication and behavior and the link between. A link that is the basis when I coach managers and run leadership development processes.

My certification as a coach opened once again the door to the hotel industry and as Training Manager for First hotel, I carried out service- and leadership development for the hotels in Scandinavia. My operational background in the industry was my strong card, as I was able to link theoretical knowledge to practical everyday life, which in turn gave the participants concrete tools.

My formal education is a BA in language and psychology from Uppsala University with several licenses in NLP, both as Trainer and Coach and with personality profiling (LUXX Profile).

I am also very proud to be part of Richard Bandler’s (co-founder of NLP) international assistant team of trainers and I assist during his trainings in England and Italy.

As a former competitive swimmer I love to do sport and to workout. Being a licensed Sports Performance Coach Trainer, I have coached both teams and individual athletes. Being the “Duracell bunny” that I am, I’m keen to keep my body and mind in good shape and ever since I quit swimming, I have trained regularly and have since a few years switched to running marathons.

My style is informal, direct, practical and no-nonsense. I am approachable and extremely flexible in my coaching and communication, which helps me create trusting relationships quickly. I will both push you to expand your comfort zone and hold you accountable so that you achieve set goals.

Participants at my seminars tell me that my humor and stories create a good environment, making people relax and thus learn more easily and quickly.

I am keen on following up my clients closely so that your investment in time and money benefits both you and the organization.
